My Times in His Hands

Had thoughts of article for Christmas, but all circumvented by some dramatic events leading to triple by-pass heart surgery, one week ago.

Been home two days, which makes it seven days since surgery. No doubt of the Lord's hand in these events.

May the Lord bless those who read, and those who don't!

Brother John,

I am glad to hear you are home. You mentioned sickness earlier...but I wasn't expecting this. I pray that you are restored soon. Thanks for letting us know.

Brethren,

I do appreciate your words, and prayers.

The heart trouble came out of the blue, with no warning. It's possible having had chronic osteo-arthritis for a couple of decades that I dismissed any warning singns, as arthritic.

What I do know is that I have been bathed in prayer and love, and very aware of the Lord's presence, and peace.

They tell me I have at least three months recovery to look forward to.

John,

May the Lord bless you in your recovery. I do not have any words of wisdom for you, but I'll pray for God's continued healing. God knows what he is doing, and I'm sure has a plan for even this.

Eric,

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I believe you are correct. I have no doubt of God's hand on me all through.

I hope to write a little about my experience when I feel a little stronger than a two day old kitten.

Hi Aussie John--
I haven't been able to read many blogs lately and was surprised to hear about your illness. I am praying for a renewal of health and strength for you.

Dave,

Thanks for inquiring, and for your prayers. I'm gaining strength but find I have little energy, although I'm told I am recovering better than expected.

Kate,

It is good to hear from you. I've wondered what was happening in your neck of the woods.

Thank you for your prayers.

I do know I'm a very privileged fellow to belong to such a Family.

Eric,

Again,thank you for your fellowship.

Prayers are being answered very positively. I'm finding some days better than others, and rejoicing that I'm just that little bit stronger, as time proceeds.

Aussie J,

I'm also able to empathize with the pain of it all. Having been through triple by-pass, two heart attacks, a stroke and all, you can see being a heart patient is part of my DNA. I'm right there with you on this one.

But I'm not a bit surprised. I'm still going to check birth records on us. There's a connection I'm sure. Too many similarities for any thing else. Even think alike. That is scary. LOL

Get well and I'm ready for some blog insights when you're able. friend.

Paul,

You are well experienced, in the miseries of the attacks, the worst of which I, providentially, had in hospital, as well as the aftermath of the operation.

You would also be able to affirm, with me,the utmost peace and assurance of "Christ in me".

As for writing: I am struggling with my thinking processes at the moment.

Thank you for your fellowship!
